MEDIA
Opportunities to develop your journalism and communication.
Thereβs no single right way to do it.
Thatβs one of the messages I like to give when I talk about communication.
(Itβs a reminder for me too.)
Some people excel at the written word. Some do better with speeches, or with face-to-face conversation. Others master the world of imagery.
Even then, the choice is not a constant. You might play and mix things up, or you might prefer one medium over the other depending on the occasion.
But whichever form it takes, communication takes work. Expression takes courage.
Whatβs important is to access a sense of freedom to do itβtry it, work at it.
It starts with finding a way to that sense of freedom.
PSβIf film is your thing and youβre interested in global health issues: the volunteer programme of Global Health Film is now open! As a volunteer you get to work directly with the wonderful Gerri McHughβGerri will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds (global health, comms, film) and based anywhere in the world.
