The Guardian is marking one year since the murders of activist Bruno Pereira and journalist Dom Phillips by publishing a series of articles as part of a project that continues their work on documenting threats to the Amazon. They include a piece naming the multinational companies that have industrialised the rainforest, and the jump in infant mortality among indigenous peoples which is linked to that industrialisation.
